In this episode, I take a look at one of the reasons why grains (both gluten-containing ones and non-gluten grains) can be bad for autoimmune disease. Specifically, lectins.
It’s no secret that I’ve been struggling with the desire to eat corn lately, but when I do, it causes me to have autoimmune Hashimoto’s flares. So in an effort to remind myself why, and to help you in the process, I’ll be making some videos that will go over some of the foods that you should try not to eat with autoimmune disease (at least on a regular basis).
